2009 Best Batter Picked
Saturday, September 26th, 2009: Josh Reddick of the Boston Red Sox proved that you can step out of the shadows and onto the stage if you've got the talent and the drive to hone your skills. Hard work, long hours and a tireless resolve paid off for him today in the form of the Eastern League Outstanding Hitter Award.

Reddick hit for a .324 average while collecting 120 hits, 8 doubles, 1 triple, 34 home runs, 77 RBIs and scoring 77 times.
EL Gives #1 Pitcher Award
Friday, September 25th, 2009: 25-year-old Craig Stammen of the Syracuse Chiefs put together a good year in 2009 for such a young player. Stammen was named today as the winner of the Eastern League Outstanding Pitcher Award.

Stammen crafted an impressive 13-3 record and a 2.65 ERA. In 142.2 innings he allowed 120 hits, struck out 111, and walked 48.
EL Announces 2009 Top Gloves
Thursday, September 24th, 2009: "Hit 'em where they ain't" is a great hitting philosophy, but it doesn't always work when a fielder can seemingly appear out of nowhere to make the play. These magicians are often taken for granted as the season grinds along, but today they take center stage. The Eastern League Glove Wizard Award selections for 2009 are:
