TEX News: Regular Season ends
Tuesday, September 8th, 2009: Baseball's second season is about to begin in the Texas League. The playoffs are scheduled to start in just a matter of days. All of the clubs have won the right to be there and will be battling hard to win it all -- but only one team can win it. That team will have to win the coveted Round 2 to be named the 2009 champions.
Hit Streak Now at 20 for Dickerson
Monday, September 7th, 2009: Joe Dickerson of the Northwest Arkansas Naturals just keeps going and going. The hot-hitting left fielder went 1-for-3 in his team's 2-1 victory over the Tulsa Drillers at Arvest Ballpark and extended his hitting streak to 20 games.

"He is definitely on a roll right now" said a Drillers pitcher. "I thought I made some good pitches against him, but he's a good hitter and hit 'em anyway."

When asked about his performance, Dickerson said, "I don't care if I go hitless as long as we get the win."
J. Dickerson flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, walked in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.

For the year Dickerson is batting .315 with 157 hits and 17 home runs. He has scored 93 times and driven in 83.
