| Breaking News |  | Edwards Sidelined for 6 Months Tuesday, September 8th, 2009: Palm Beach Cardinals right fielder Jon Edwards suffered a fractured elbow during a recent game with the Brevard County Manatees and will miss 6 months. Edwards told BNN, "I hurt it making a defensive play. I'm optimistic that I will be back quicker than they say."
During the current season Edwards is batting at a .269 clip with 5 home runs and 23 RBIs.
